Job Summary:

As Software Engineer, you will become an expert of our scanning and optimization solutions. You will develop and improve our software products in relation to industry needs, working in an international team and contributing to the success of our innovating company.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Contribution in the creation, testing, commissioning and documentation of prototypes and products.
• Design, adaptation, and validation of our software meeting customer-specific requirements.
• Responsibility for the development, maintenance, and customization of one or more of our software products and libraries.
• Maintain infrastructure for all software optimization packages.
• Manage and understand the product software to upgrade and group based on client need.
• Gather data to build effective feedback loops for both the clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams like Grade Support to ensure client needs are being met.
• Build and perform maintenance on all client QC tablets and effectively installing the MiCROTEC software.
• Merge data regularly to improve efficiencies within the code.
• Teach and Train internal teams on local tools to best serve the client.
• Work within the global team to align strategies and processes across all models through feedback channels.
• Consistently perform site updates during low function times.
• Serve as a liaison between teams and connect pieces for certain optimizations better serving clients.

Skills/Abilities:

• Strong C++ skills and familiarity with the development environments (Microsoft Visual Studio).
• Experience in front and backend development.
• Familiarity of CUDA.
• Organized and self-motivated with a product application-oriented approach.
• Able to travel worldwide up to 50% in the first two years and 25% thereafter.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to work within the US without the need for Visa Sponsorship

Education and Experience:

• BS in computer science or equivalent
• Two years’ experience in the development of software projects preferred
